Well, we found that car at an estate sale in the high desert of New Mexico. It was sitting in a barn hidden under a stack of hay. The original owner parked it there many years ago, and it was not found until after his death by his adult children. They said: "We thought he sold that car a long time ago" My bid was the highest at 6k and it was loaded on a trailer.

This car had none of the usual rust one would expect on a 68 Camaro. Zero rust at the bases of the front and rear glass for example. The quarters, doors, fenders, also were rust free. Obviously only surface rust on the top of the car because of all those years under the hay. A bonus was finding a complete NOS set of window moldings in the trunk.
