It looks like the S1 has dropped in price recently. I like the appearance and simplicity of the Bremer design for potential shift boot fitment.

I like the idea of a sequential for the track.

I guess I would worry about the tires breaking loose at speed. For example if your car has a tendency to break loose in upper gears (1-2 2-3 shift) at full throttle, and the sequential gearshift change is the hard/fast abrupt change, I am wondering if that would have the tendency to put the car over the edge traction-wise.
As opposed to the H pattern shifter, where you could potentially back-off slightly in the danger area then feather it up to full pedal again.

Any thoughts or experience on this?
