I am doing a 65 gto that I pulled out of California about 6 years ago. It was a 2 owner all original never been hit complete and rust free car that was parked in 1978 inside the last owners garage. I hauled it down to Oregon and had it acid dipped and total rust was about the size of a sheet of paper from a magazine. Then I started to cut it up to get a 6.0 litre with a 6l80e in it that a g8 donated. The engine got pulled apart for some forged parts to handle the 2.9 Whipple. The rest of the floor from the fire wall to the tail panel was removed and between the ABC tubs that I widened another 2 inches and the Heidts IRS out back it has been a very long project that should go into paint in a couple of months.A-body's are a lot of work and the early ones can get real busy under the hood but their such a classic.Your f85 has great lines ,build it the way you want and enjoy.
