Default Harbor Freight stud welder

Not a big fan of Harbor Freight but I researched and found they had good reviews. Made in China. $100 shipped.

I'm very much a rookie body guy. Working on a 68 Chev pickup with various minor dents.

I have to say it works well. It came with 2mm studs and 3mm studs. Didn't use the 3mm studs. Ordered the extra pack of 2mm studs. Don't waste your time with the Harbor Freight studs. Go to NAPA and get twice the number for haft the price.

The stud gun works good. The stud puller works good pulling but releasing the stud is poor. You have to pound down into the dent you just pulled to release the stud. So pull the dent and then clip the stud while it is still attached to the slide hammer.

Regards
