Default Interior Thermal Protection Under Carpet

I have applied Raptor liner to the interior floor area of the car and have the DynaMat Extreme ready to go on. Do I need thermal protection on top of the DynaMat before the carpet ?
i was thinking of the DEI product
Or spraying on the Lizzard Skin over the Raptor Liner then the DynaMat then the carpet.
I'm worried as my exhaust is tucked up very close to the floor

I think you need thermal insulation. The DEI product, Thermozite or even jute.

I went with B-Quiet products in my camaro. Did the same as you with raptorliner, went over with the B-Quiet ultimate matting(comparable to Dynamat Extreme but much cheaper) and then went over with B-Quiet V-comp just on the floors to keep road and exhaust noise to a minimum. I do not have carpet yet, but the difference is unbelievable with and without the V-Comp alone.
