Default Recaro seat foam

Hey guys can anybody suggest a place that I can get foam inserts for recaro seats. I am looking to customize some seats for the rear. They will be cut and modified so I see no purpose in buying a new seat and cutting and throwing most of it away just to end up with a modified foam seat. I am having a hard time finding suitable used seats, and the cost of shipping them is cost prohibitive.

Interesting timing. I was talking to my interior guy this afternoon about doing my rear seat and mentioned this to him. He stated that RECARO doesn't sell just the foam to the best of his knowledge. If you find something different, PLEASE let me know!

Correct ^^^

Recaro does not sell foam.

Any decent upholstery shop can build a seat that mimics the look of a Recaro seat by shaping foam though.

Thumbs up

I have bought Recaro parts from http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/

They are on ebay and sell direct from their website. Since they are in the UK, shipping is a little steep.. but they are a great resource for hard to find Recaro parts.

Here's a a couple pieces I found on a quick search:
