Default C5 Accessary drive in a Chevelle

I'm swapping a LS out of a 2002 TA into my 65' Chevelle. Due to Alt. / steering box clearance issues, I've found a accessary drive off a C5 Corvette, which relocates the alternator to the top. My question is, will the Corvette alternator work with the TA wire harness. I read that the Vette is a 3-wire setup and the TA is a single wire.

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks,
Chris
