Default Trans Crossmember

I know this has been beat around this forum before.... But I'll throw out the question anyway. 1970 Camaro, DSE subframe, DSE engine mounts, LSA w/ 4L80e trans. What seems to be the best solution for a trans cross member? I could just fab one up....looking for an easier (bolt in) solution. I know most guys are using a T-56..... anyone have any experience with a 4L80e??

BRP Hotrods has one!

Should be similar to the TR6060 one I have in my '73

Thank you for the input..... I've done a lot of searching and the consensus is that the x-member is the same as a first gen?? I'll contact BRP Hotrods.

I had a hard time finding one that fit in my first gen. I tried the BRP mount, but it did not fit. I did find the G-force crossmember fit well in my first gen. I needed to shim the tail shaft up quite a bit to obtain a good driveline angle. Might be worth looking at for your second gen.

I took a look at the G-Force piece..... pretty beefy looking for sure! I'm thinking that any choice I make will require some tweeking....

Trans Cross Members are different from Gen 1 to Gen 2!

We make Crossmembers for the 1st Gen but not for the 2nd Gen, that is why I have a BRP item in my '73
