nice score on the LSA. 700 crank should be really easy especially with the ls9 snout and the porting you already done.

I think so as well and it should still have nice drive-ability since its nothing to crazy.

Not much of an update, but any progress is better than none I guess. Guy had a C6 dash for cheap local so I got it and went over to my trailer and test fit it in the car. It fits way better than I thought it would with just taking measurements from a C6 in a parking lot. I think its going to look really good in the car once its done and the center console modified for my needs. I also started collecting the rest of the dash parts I need to make it complete.

So its been a long time since I've been able to work on my car. Since it doesn't look like it will be any time soon still I've decided to try and knock out the small stuff in the mean time so that way I'm still closer to getting the car done and it's stuff that needs done anyways that I can do without the car.

As I'm putting a C6 dash in my car I bought a cluster and some of the trim panels for it. Since I have Speedhut gauges for it and the factory C6 stuff won't work for me I set off modifying it to work with my needs. First off I fiber glassed in the stock holes that I won't need to prep it for the right size holes that I will need. I also though since I need to fit more gauges that planned since I went to a supercharger engine I though what better place then were the factory buttons were. So I fiber glassed those holes in too. I then fit in PVC pipe as its the perfect size for gauges, used some expanding foam then formed it to the shape I wanted before fiber glassing all that in and starting on the body filler side of things.

In the cluster area I cut out and scrapped all the guts and then fitted a lexan lens to lay out my gauges. The two lowest gauges will be fitted at an angle to match the C6 gauge layout. Once I have the angles set I'll fiber glass everything together and do a carbon fiber over lay.

Hopefully I'll be able to continue knocking out small projects regularly. I'm also working on new LED tail lamps. Pictures to come later on that one when they are closer to being done.

Thanks guys.

I messed around with it a little bit last night and ended up with the lower two gauges angled like the C6 gauges were. I have a few giant washers on order from McMaster so I can start the glass work on it. I'm pretty happy with how they've turned out so far.
