Default Flat 12 Gallery's "Ronin" '63 Ford Falcon on Forgeline GT3C Concave Wheels

Like a samurai without a liege lord? Jeff Allen and the team at Flat 12 Gallery built their “Ronin” 1963 Ford Falcon to be a multi-faceted racecar capable of competing in a wide variety of events and formats. It’s powered by a Roush-supercharged 5.0L Coyote and rides on Baer brakes, 305/35ZR18 Nitto NT01 tires, and 18x9 Forgeline GT3C Concave wheels finished with Matte Graphite centers & Black Pearl outers! I really like this build and the look with the wheel and tire combo. It's very aggressive and powerful looking. I just don't see how the fenders don't kill the tires though when hitting a bump or going around a corner hard. Do they raise it up or does it ride that stiff?

Very cool.

Wonder why they put such a wide tire on that 9" wheel?

No power steering either. They ran the car at Optim and it was not competitive despite having enough power. They have a bit to learn about autox and road racing.

It is leaf sprung in the rear and did not appear to be c-notched so I don’t think the tires will hit in the rear. Maybe had 1.5” bump travel.
