Been following this build for some time, awesome work!!! One question, what is the "soft touch clear" you used on the console above?

Thanks

Alsa Paint company....."Soft touch clear" It literally feels like rubber....so cool. easiest thing in the world to spray too. I did 3 coats, takes a long time to dry.....overnight, came in this morning and was blown away. never saw anything like it. Perfect for interior parts.

I am so impressed with all the cool resin work and attention to details throughout the whole build. I am also going to use Alsa Soft Touch clear on my Dash frame, center console and rear package tray, your pics give a better idea of what my parts will look like than on thier site, what basecoat did you use for the Satin Black ? Im having a tough time choosing a Black to get a idea of the look once painted.
Thanks Ross

Looks great! Do your hands get tired from all the sanding?

Yeah, this isn't so bad as doing the high end paint work we do. This is a project that has kept me busy all year.... My arm feels like it is gonna fall off but the result is really flat and really shiny.....here is a pic looking down the door and showing the split reflection of the front of the tbird. you can see the door end in the foreground.

soft touch is cool but tends to show scratches real bad in darker colors.

well I paid for two spots at the detroit autorama, crunch time....I feel pretty good about being done for the most part with "wild turkey", just having it sit with doors shut, windows up and trunk shut in worst case. I have another project I have been messing with, a chopper, thought I would post pics.. it get the other spot there at autorama....
just sprayed some final clean on for shine, really pops, pictures don't show it well but it is coming along. I call it "Blood Dragon"
