I just got my 68 camaro in SPI epoxy primer and ready to seam seal this beauty.
Could somebody post some pics of where the factory applied the seam sealer or links to view pics of seam sealer locations. Car has been on body cart for 6 years and I lost all pics from when I stripped the car. Thanks
Are you trying to do a completely original restoration? If not, then I wouldn't be to concerned about where the factory sealed, and just seal every joint in some way or other. I would recommend a good 2 part epoxy based sealer like 3M, SEM, Norton, Evercoat, etc... That is just what I would do. If you can do inside and out, even better. Anything to keep moisture from getting in a joint.
I wouldn't say you are going overboard. Seam seal all of it. As far as the pinchweld, interior most definitely on the inside and I would take a small acid brush or paint brush and do the bottom side of the pinch weld also.
