Default 69 plymouth pro touring

Item Location (City/State):San Diego CA

Price:35K

Description:
Ok folks here it go's, If you are a die hard mopar fan then this might be a love hate relationship depending...lol...the car was built to be a cruiser that you can go hit the track on the weekends have some fun, turn some heads and then enjoy the ride home with the top down. Lets start with the upgrades.

SUSPENSION
-Full TVS system from Hotchkis, everything underside has been upgraded!
-Fox shocks
-sub-frame connectors
-Firm Feel steering box, along with the upgraded K-member kit so she is super strong with no to little flex when she hits the corners hard
-Wildwood brakes on all 4 corners so she stops just as quick
she runs on Black powder coated US MAGS 18x9.5 on all 4 corners with Nitto NT05 285/35 along with a full spare so you'll never be down on trips with a donut, I also have a set of 18x8 with 255/40 NT05's that I was running before I upgraded with the fatter meats up front for track days

DRIVETRAIN
Engine
-Of course when you think mopar you think 440...so I had one built that was going to be solid cruiser that you can drive from CA to NY and back with no issues
dyno sheet shows 475 HP/ 525 TQ
Sitting on top of the RPM intake & aluminum heads is a FiTech EFI system good to 800HP so if you ever want to upgrade the 440 there will be no worries that this system will handle anything you throw at it along with no need for adjustments depending on your home...as this system is a self tuning system so won't matter if you live sea level or in Denver mile high she will run great regardless.
-Aluminum radiator with twin electric fans keep the 440 cool
She breaths though jet coated headers so they will looks awesome for life.
A custom 3" exhaust with X pipe give her a real nice sound...this ran just shy of $1100 because it's done right the 1st time and well worth the cash for peace of mind.

Transmission
built 727/OD with a 2600 converter to handle the low end TQ of the Big Block. The Gear Vendor helps with those long hauls with the top down and keeping that RPM lower for the MPG...although let's be honest...who is really counting once you hit that fast lane

Rear end
She has been changed out to a 8.8 with 3.55 so it's easy to find parts and not get killed by those pesky mopar fanatics. She has been fully powder coated so it will look great for years to come

New fuel EFI tank looks great from behind

Just incase you decide to put the top up she has been upgraded with a AC unit so no problem keeping cool with the windows up, or the heater if it's a little chilly outside

Moving on to the interior she has been upgraded with bucket seats that keep your butt planted with you hit the curves along with center counsel that of course has cup holders. New head unit with nice speakers will have you smiling ear to ear along with the EFI computer face showing you anything you want to see with the engine.

I absolutely love this car and you get attention no matter where you are...if you are not a people person don't buy the car as you will be forced to talk to people walking by who love the car...you can let go of the wheel and she tracks straight and hit the brakes and she will brake in a straight line. I'm deployed a lot so just don't get the time to drive her and hate to see her in storage when she should be out and getting some much needed love

Ok with all the good there has to be some bad right...like I said she is a driver and built for fun not a trailer queen. there are some chips here & there the paint overall would be 7. some one dinged the front air-dam but it looks fine to me. Drivers door needs to be shut twice every now and then, The dash has some cracks, I just never got around to getting a dash cover.
On a good note the top is in great shape and go's up and down without issues. the interior is in great shape with the new seats. The bumpers are fiberglass and painted along with most of the trim in a nice grey so everything matches and looks great. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of things.

Sweet car. You are correct the mopars don't get a lot of love around here. There are some but mostly GM. I'm sure you will find a buyer for your ride. Looks like a blast to drive.

Love the car. Why are you selling? Wanna trade for a mostly done project Challenger?
