Default T-56 Mag LS7 68 Camaro

Hey, I'm looking at a Bowler stage 2 T-56 for a 68 Camaro w LS7 600 hp/540 tq 3.89 gear, I'm at altitude so I'm loosing 20%. 325-345 30 19
question is..... what ratio would be best suited for road race and what would work best for street daily driving
It won't be seeing time racing in a parking lot!
I'd love to experience for myself, I'm sure I would know right away, but I don't know how that will happen.

TUET11009 is the best one. Basically a close ratio 5spd (.80 5th gear) with .63 overdrive. The other version has a very short 1st gear.... the rest of the spread is funky.... and 5th is .75 which puts you too much out of your powerband on the few road courses that you may use it on. Also .50 overdrive is ridiculous and not needed... maybe if you are trying to set fuel economy records.

Unless you are doing endurance racing you don't really need to do any mods to that trans at your power level. I've run stock T56 Magnums in LSx setups making 600-1400hp without issues.

Thanks for the input "g" I see the Z/28 comes with the close ratio. I have heard issues with second gear in 600 hp applications
