Aeroquip Push Loc hose for EFI?

Agreed. Looks like I need to place an order for some new hose and bands. Too bad, that was a lot of expensive hose that's now trash. At least I learned a valuable lesson without burning the car down. Aeromotive shows their push lock hose is suited for fuel in it's brochures. I bought the hose because I bought their fittings. So off it comes and new hoses will be built before it drives anywhere again.

That's 11 hoses in my fuel plumbing. All under 3 feet or so but still a lot of hose. I might buy the Kool Tool push on hose kit to do that many hoses again. I had a sore shoulder last time trying to get the hoses on all the way. Even with lube that Aeromotive hose is stiff.

The gates hose is real easy to push on compared to some other brands. I have tried some pushlok that was so tight, I gave up.

If you run hardline except for the flex for tank drop-down and from firewall to block, you'll save on serviceable pieces.

Pretty much what I do.

1 from rear bulkhead return fitting in tank
1 from in pump in tank to fuel filter
1 from fuel filter to rear bulkhead pressure line
1 from front pressure bulkead fitting to filter
1 from filter to Y adapter to split to fuel rails
2 from Y adapter to fuel rails
2 return lines from fuel rails to regulator
1 from regulator return to return bulkhead

Just saying, if you make the fuel-rails-to-y a hardline, then you only have the soft line from
Y to hardline-at-firewall.

In total, any car I build is usually only 4-6ft total of soft line. So there's only ever 2 lines and 4 fittings total for soft line. Makes it nice for future servicing—only two lines to replace if they're worn.
