Default Does anyone know anything about this guy in Sacramento?

There’s a guy in the Sacramento area that seems to either buy and sell or flips Camaro’s and other cars. I am always quite skeptical of these people. I have a buddy who is going to look at one of his cars and I want to check with you guys to see if y’all have heard of him. His name is Joshua Anthon and here’s one of his videos

Why is the front axle center line not centered in the wheel opening?

What is a TKO Magnum 6 speed?

How do you know its a Mast Engine?

Viper Seats? Look like Pro Car seats to me

Why does the starter drag so much when you start it up?

No mention about suspension except coilovers in rear.

This deal is a scam.

So that was just one of his videos, but this is the actual car he is looking at. There's a few things that make me nervous as well. Let me know your thoughts.

Not as bad as I might have thought for a running driving car.

Still scares me not to show under carpet or anything to see what kinda shape the physical car is in. I gather he doesnt know much about what he has any way. Drops alot of names to sound knowledgeble.

I agree and he wont allow my buddy to take the car to anywhere outside of his garage to be inspected, but said he could bring over anyone he wanted to look it over. Which to me is a big red flag.

Having owned a set of ProCars, those are definitely re-upholstered ProCars.

All the lights work. A tail light and park light aren't working.

Rodger is probably onto something with the insulation. I'm guessing rust...

I've been out of the loop on prices, but I can't imagine you get much of a 69 for $29,000 these days. Regardless, take someone to look at it that knows these old cars. They can turn into a can of worms in a heartbeat. Finding a solid car at 40k could be a bargain in comparison.
