Default Pro Systems sv1 1000 cfm

Has anyone used or heard if the Pro System 1000 cfm carb is as good or better then a Ultra HP holly 950?

Thanks

I can't speak for the SV1 from them but their other carbs are top notch if you ask me and are reasonably priced. A buddy of mine bought one of off them and it gained 2/10ths in the quarter out of the box, no tuning at all. This was on a 555 big block, 15:1, a little over 1000HP I think. The old carb was from APD and we had spent a few years tuning that. Another thing that is actually crazy to talk about on a race engine was drivability, it wa much easier to drive around the pits and not load up. Their customer service after the fact was also top notch, called the owner on a Saturday at the races and he helped with the air bleed selection. Good luck with your choice.

Patrick is one of the best in the industry and continually steps up his game. I personally run his Pro Series 4150 953cfm carb on my Chevelle and it picked up 15-30+HP over similar Holley/Quickfuels, drives like a grocery getter too. I have used his carbs on numerous customer builds as well.

I know a few guys on the Chevelle forums are running the SV1 with good luck.

Pats customer service is some of the best in the industry, he give you his CELL #
