That is some exciting stuff!! Wonder why we dont have anything like this in the U.S.?
I hope the Camaro Cup continues to have success.
Anybody have an idea of what the rules are for car tech? Stock motors? limits on suspesion, brake, and other upgrades? Wheel size and tires?
Definitely looks like fun and the logo is pretty cool also.

Here is what I found.

About the cars . (European version)????
Specifications Camaro Cup gene-5

Engine: Chevrolet V8 of 5.7 liters.
Power about 440 hp, torque of 600 Nm. Catalytic converters.
Fuel: E85 Ethanol

Transmission: 4-speed Richmond Super T10.

Absorbers: Ohlins Shock

Chassis: tubular frame Camaro Cup 2010-specification.
Front Suspension: Fully adjustable control arms.

Rear Axle: GM, with Ramp Differential.

Brakes front: Discs AP Racing, Will Wood 6-piston calipers.
Brakes Rear: GM tops the original, Will Wood 4-piston calipers.

Body: Fiberglass - Camaro Cup 2010-specification.
Interior: Aluminum

Tires: Michelin slicks
Wheels: 9 to 9.5 x 17

Minimum weight car with driver: about 1175 kg.

Thanks for the info Mike!! Glad to hear there using 4 speed T-10's and 17" wheels.

Wonder where they are using the fiberglass?
