I purchased "Pinnacle Studio HD ultimate collection" by Avid. It's a rip off. To get anything near competing software I would have to purchase other add-ons. Unfortunately, the box did not clearify this.
The main parent company Avid, makes a very high-end editor.... However, packaging is appealing on the Pinnacle Studio but very mis-leading.
Software has several flaws which make it very un-user friendly. Some basic cut and past movements cause conflicts... You can't just watch some of your clips and then clip a section to past to the editing time line. It is a pain to work with. Things on the editing time line.... you know the ones you work on for an hour or so.... accasionally move around and edit themselves after you start trying to ad some of the advertised features.
In this packaged version "Studio HD" v.15, It's bone stock for the same price of other greater quality editing software.
