Todd.... Dude.... you've cracked my dirty little secret wide open!
Seriously -- while we have a nasty rainy gray dismal few months (like November to July 5th) -- there is no place nicer than the Pacific NorthWET in the summer (July 5th until mid October).
We do not have big bugs.... we rarely have lightening storms.... we DO NOT have humidity issues.... we rarely see 90*'s... and here in the Seattle area we have wonderful mountains and a geographic anomaly called the Puget Sound... which acts like a giant refrigerator. So every afternoon -- about 5:30/6:00 a nice breeze brings cool air for perfect sleeping.
I can see absolutely no reason to leave here in July/August/September.
