*BREAKING NEWS*

It looks like Gale will be long hauling the black TT pick up. He also plans on taking the Sidewinder as a "back up vehicle" another TT pick up and a trio of new diesel pick ups as well.

I am trying to go but I think all the passenger spots are full already.

Good luck on that Jason, it'd be nice to meet you.

I will be "long-hauling" on the Power Tour this year. I will be driving a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Convertible. Nashville to Milwaukee to Orlando and back to Nashville. Sounds like its time for a practice run!!!!

I'm gonna try to catch it in Birmingham and go to the end. Don't know yet if the wife will let me spend the money!

Schedule conflicts make it impossible for me to participate in the PT long haul, but my fresh built 69 Chevelle convertible is scheduled to be ready and able. I was fortunate to make a deal with Jody and Scott to drive it from start to finish, so by the time I get it...Jody will have had a chance to fix everything...LOL. The project is a collaborative effort by two of our site sponsors. The project began at Micky Hale's shop, then to Aloha Automotive for finishing. The schedule is very, very tight [as usual], but the crew at Aloha is working diligently to make it happen. Progress can be monitored at www.alohadreamcars.com, or click on their sponsor flag, then click on "Work In Progress" link to the shop video camera page. Follow the instructions about operating the real time video cam to see the yellow Chevelle come together. Jody and Scott monitor this forum far more frequently than I have a chance to visit, so they can answer any/all specific questions about the particulars and specs of the Pro-Touring Chevelle. Aloha will deliver the car to Colin's open house in Milwaukee on June 2 and I hope to at least attend that pre tour gathering just to watch Jody eat free BBQ.

Take your tool box Jody...

Steve gave me permission to post a pic. Here's the Chevelle, it has a Ramjet ZL1, TKO600, Fab 9, Wilwoods, 18's, etc. I'll have A LOT more pictures of it after Jody and I drive it across country.

This picture is from a few months ago:

Yes, I would also like to publicly thank Steve Sandlin for offering us this cool ride for the Tour. There are very few people in this world that would make such an offer, and I REALLY appreicate it! This is going to be a LOT of fun!
