With the DSE subframe, what transmission cross member are you using?

I know the DSE engine mounts move the engine back 1.5 inches, and they say to use a stock style cross member. What are you using in this build, and what have you used in past builds? The closest pic I could see was on post #61, but it's far in the background and I can't really make it out.

Thanks again for your time and expertise!

The LT motor mounts and trans cross member are both hooker blackheart. We built the first set off gunner and got all of the angles set and holley is now producing them. They fit great and everything bolts in as it should. You do have to raise the tunnel to get correct driveline angle

Ahhhhhh, that's right, I forgot this was an LT series engine!

What have you guys done for LS engines in the past using the DSE subframe? I know DSE has their own engine mounts for the LS engine for their subframe, but kind of leave you hanging on the trans cross member.

And would you happen to have any pics of the interior trans tunnel mods you've performed?

Thanks!

If you go back to the build of Jackass 2.0, you will find the pictures there on the cross member Mark has built on Hellfire and JA for the LS9. It is on page 68. If you look at some of the DSE builds you will also find they have built a similar setup

We are dry building the whole car this time before paint. Matt is putting the front clip on it now to finish the engine bay.

Just finished the dip stick for dry sump tank.

Reassembling the front end
