I can tell you that you will probably have to do some tweaking to make it fit. Even worse depending on the brand of tail panel, I have seen the bucket stud bracket spot welded in the wrong spot. I do have a pair of modern bezels I could sell if you want to be damn sure everything lines up.

I emailed him today and got a similar response. Hopefully he comes through. Thanks for checking with him.

Mike thanks for the offer, I think that the tail panel is probably one of the areas that can be put off till later in the body work. Hopefully I can get Pascual's bezels by then. The body shop will still have plenty to do before they get to that part of the car. So far, the only thing I needed to do was open up the stud holes a little because of the welded bracket ( glad it wasn't in the wrong spot like you have found ). I was just shocked to find that even the stock bezel fit really good.

Thanks again Mike.

I am still chasing a set of 68 3D Tail Lights. He emailed right back in March, then I haven't heard from him since. Now their phone number is dead. Anyone heard from them lately?

Its been many months since I have contacted him. The last thing he told me was that he had a few pairs of the 68 lights but they needed to be assembled. I told him I would buy two sets and he said "let me check when I get back to the shop" and I have not heard from him again. He has not responded to any text messages since then.

Sorta what I expected... I think I'll pretty much call it a wrap for me getting a set from him. I have a slight tinge of OCD on this car and really hoped to land a set from him. On to the next vendor whoever that may be.
Thanks again Greg I appreciate you looking into it for me.

For what it's worth, RB is coming out with some tail lights for 1st gens. I spoke to them as recent as the last week to follow up on the status of the tail lights as I first spoke to them right after SEMA. Per the lady that answered the phone, it's still in design stage and still had to go to testing, etc. So, it'll be this time next yer. Don't know what stage your car is and if you can wait, but just giving you some insight. Marquez made great stuff, but we know RB will be just as sweet.

I gave up, just bought the stock repops that I am going sand smooth then paint. Fesler stopped making theirs too. Eddie Motorsports is the other option right now. Too bad, Marquez made dome great stuff.
