Default 1969 Twin Turbo Camaro project for sale

Item Location (City/State): Campbell, CA
Price: PROJECT IS SOLD
Description:

I recently picked up another car, a '32 Roadster, and along with other life changes I need to let go of my Camaro project. The project was to build a high end SEMA show car, but still maintain street drivability. Many of you already know what goes into a professionally built car at this level - $400K and much higher. Cutting to the chase, I have 100% of the receipts totaling $210K, and looking to sell for $xxxK. No corners were cut, everything done was top of the line. It started with an almost rust free body, with the only rust repair on the bottom rear quarters - that's all.

There are TONS of details on a web page I put together here:

www.TwinTurbo69.com

A couple of quick main features and a few pictures below, but if you are interested, please see the details on the web page above.
  • 427 LS twin turbo built for about 1100HP - all internals and parts documented on the website above.
  • Bowler 4l80e trans with Twist Machine paddle shifters
  • DSE Hydroformed front subframe
  • DSE QuadraLink rear suspension
  • DSE subframe connectors
  • 12 bolt axle with Wavetrac
  • Baer brakes
  • General body work started, panel alignment and finishing work to be done - everything in the pictures is all metal
  • Aston Martin flush door handles installed and working
  • 1969 Firebird rear bumper tucked in
  • DSE mini tubs
  • Marquez Design complete interior with modified dash
  • Vintage air
  • Infinity Box electrical system

Looking to sell everything for $xxxK, or would entertain selling the engine and/or transmission separately. I would be glad to answer any questions, or put you directly in touch with the project lead in charge of the build from the beginning at Campbell Auto Restoration and High Performance. The car is located in Campbell, CA.

If you are interested in only the engine and transmission, here are the details:

ENGINE COMPONENTS:
ERL - 427 short block - $7,530.89
Comp Cams - Cam, rockers, springs, lifters - $2,675.35
AFR - Heads, studs, gaskets (separate charge second gasket) - $3,529.96
John Koster - Carbon fiber valve covers - $514.99
Lingenfelter Performance - Engine - timing chain damper - $32.45
Thunder Racing - Engine - Manley LS3 timing set - $172.87
Texas Speed and Performance - Engine - Oil pump and bolts - $227.33
Vintage Air / Campbell Auto - Front Runner, Gen-IV, condensor, etc - $4,029.59
OZMO Engineering - Carbon fiber cross ram intake - $4,546.50
T1 Racing Development - Injector Dynamics ID2000 injectors - $1,954.48
Kurturban Performance - Water line adapters and oil adapter - $253.36
OE Parts HQ - Front and rear engine covers - $201.31
Comp Cams - 16 push rods - $168.98
Summit - Oil pickup tube - $62.94
Summit - Holley LS oil pan - $437.90
ATP Turbo - Turbos, housings, wastegates - $5,420.16
Pro Fabrication - Stainless Steel header tubing and bends - $783.20
AEM Performance - AEM Infinity ECU, sensors, coils - $4,923.11
TOTAL - $37,465.37 (not including labor)

TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS:
Twist Machine - Compushift, Shrifter, Torque converter - $2,472.92
Bowler Transmissions - 4L80e - $8,868.50
TOTAL - $11,341.42

I'm looking for $xxx on the complete engine, and $xxx for the transmission and components. Together, I would go $xxx - that's almost $49K worth of all brand new parts. Just to reiterate, please go to the web page for tons of detail on every component and spec inside the engine: www.TwinTurbo69.com

Willing to consider a trade or partial trade, but it would have to be a pretty high end build.

Quick update, this project car is still for sale. Here are two renderings from Kris Horton of the car as designed.
