Thanks guys for your support! I haven't had time to work on it too much but I did manage to get some work done on the back seat today. Got the seat bottom cut down, cleaned and primed. Just gotta get the seat back narrowed now. Here's one of the corners after modification.

Thanks! I can't take credit for the know how, someone on here had already done an excellent write up on the process. Below is a link to the thread. I had to make a couple of additional mods to mine but this got me going in the right direction for sure!
