Default 1st gen - 2nd gen leaf spring differences?

Are the leaf springs interchangeable between the 1st and 2nd gen f-bodies?

Dunno if it helps you to confirm, but i've noticed previously that DSE list the same part numbers for 1st gen and second gen for their drop springs.

That was what confused me... Some that I saw had the same part #s from 67-81 and some not. I know there were different spring rates due to weight throughout the years.

I had considered using some Hotchkis leafs that I bought for my 79 T/A on my newly acquired 69 Firebird when it arrived but oops I wound up putting them on the 79 this weekend. Guess I'll just start shopping for 69 specific items.

I'll have a used (6,000 miles) set of DSE leafs, off-set shackles, Cal-trac bars for sale in a month (swapping out for a RideTech 4-link).

How'd you find the caltracs with the multileaf springs?

Interested in selling the Caltracs separately?

I bought the car with the setup already installed, believe this is the same part:
http://www.calvertracing.com/store/c...ole-p-141.html

Once I get the new 4-link installed and clean up the parts I'll post up the parts.
