do you yourself a favor and plunk down the money for a T56 Magnum.
They are stronger, shift waaaay smoother, will actually shift at high RPM, and offer many shifter positions.
I've pushed one to well over 1000rwhp for 2-3 years without issues behind a turbo'd LS9 longblock. Shifts at 7800rpm without any issues 1st thru 5th gear. I run a Quicktime BH, Mcleod flywheel, RXT HD1200 clutch
