Hey guys, I am wanting to run 18" wheels on my 69 and I am looking for advice on size and backspace. The wheels tubs are stock. Thanks.

I can double check my notes at the shop, we have 3 '69 Camaros/F-birds with 18's on the back w/ no tubs. Generally, a 18x9.5" wheel will fit with a 5.5" backspace on a stock 10 or 12-bolt.

I've got 5" BS fronts, it will rub the subframe unless you have some steering stoppers.

I think the 18's fill out the wheel wells perfect. One of the toughest decisions is what wheel to go with. You can make or break your car. You guys made a great choice. I appreciate all the advice I can get.

Agreed, agreed, and agreed...but why limit yourself to just one set?
Oh and I did forget...Jon Henson above was the man who set me up on 2 of my cars, get with him and you're in good hands.
