sounds great Rodger

have you seen how Nissan did it with the GT-R two prop shafts and rear transaxle

cutaway pics here

the intake looks great, wondering if there's different trumpet lengths for different cam/compression combinations?

We had it on the DYNO at Katech (they did a great job. They are a talented group with the best technology around).

We were up 58 torque and 55 hp.
Torque peak 616 at 5197RPM 528 at 3193RPM.
HP Peak 696 at 6398RPM. 504 at 4389RPM and 662 at 7000RPM.

Numbers are on a 427 LS7 with big cam, headers, dry sump. Comparison is stock ls7 intake with UMI 90 mm throttle body vs. our cross ram.

How do you run air filters on these?

TY

A Nice looking, functional, Cross Flow EFI System would be terrific under the hoods of many of our cars.

Think what this would look like under a 1963 Grand Sport Corvette Hood. Give me the looks of the Cross flow system with Webers, with the performance, and convenience of EFI.

That would be a winner.

I am on board. That would be exactly what I would buy. I would rather have the Aluminum Horns just for the retro look and the cost savings, plus air cleaners would fit on them.

Who will be the first company to offer that to us??

Ty

Default the horns are carbon

I am sure you can have someone make them out of aluminum, but it would probably cost more in fab time than just staying with the carbon ones.

Kinsler has a mesh and foam cover that goes over each to work as a filter.

You can always build air boxes like on "The Mule" or on "Fuel" (G-Force Designs)

Fuel used a Harrop intake from AU. I looked into thoes and it was about half the cost of the Kinsler set-up. Not sure if Harrop makes one for an LS7.

The individual runner intakes make great power, but I heard they are tough to get the tune correct and part throttle driving is not fun. Granted, all of the driving and tuning info is second hand as I have no expierence with either intake. They do look killer though!

Not to argue -- but that simply isn't true. Throttle response on these and similar systems is the fastest and most responsive of anything you will ever drive. The tuning is a "who's doing it" and was the motor (cam etc) built for EFI drivability etc. Get too wild and anything goes south with "part throttle" -- build it for it's intended use and you have a super fun machine.

I wonder if what he really meant was that part throttle driving can be too much fun...?
