Default So this is where all the cool kids hang out now? (G-body content)

Hey! I'm Andrew

I got turned on to this board by the Pichettes. I have no idea why I hadn't found it already. I'm pretty sure I know a bunch of people from here in person, but for some reason never wandered over to this corner of the internet. I've been lurking on Pro-touring.com and have been active on local boards since the early 1990s.

I've a 1987 Buick Grand National I run in SCCA and Optima events. It's not a winner yet, but it's not a loser, either. I managed to squeak into the Optima Invitational this year with it, so I'm doing something right.

The car's been a bit of an adventure over the past three years. I won't rehash it all here, but I tracked most of it on my blog, if anybody wants to waste some time sharing my pain:

I also have a bunch of in-car footage on my Youtube channel:

And I started an Instagram, though I'm not a terribly prolific poster:

At any rate, thanks to the mods for approving me. If anybody has any questions about the car, don't hesitate to ask.

I look forward to killing time here, and hope to see you all out at events next season!

**raises hand** I have a question...

How many times has someone come up to you at an event and said "My BrotherSisterUncleCousinGrandfatherFriend had a Monte Carlo JUST LIKE that one back in the day?

Guys, I've known Andrew for a long time...He's put some serious work into this build and it's a contender for sure. And still damn nice to the eyes as well.

If only it didn't sound so funny...
