Default Prototype: 65 Mustang Convertible-Hard Top

Anyone ever seen a car like this? I guess this car is rare. Sorta reminds me of the T-Birds in the 60's. The trunk lid and quarters look a bit odd too. Thought this was an unusual car. I am wondering what this car will bring. The engine color is not correct, 65 289 blocks were black with gold.

I have bid on several of his cars. In fact the 67 belvedere convert that is on now I bid on several weeks ago. I think his is using ebay for advertisement. It would be interesting to see what his reserve is. I am sure it is a Barrett Jackson type reserve, no stealing or bargains here.

What's up Andrew. If is car is what they say it is, it will bring some good money. Told my dad this would look good on the showroom if it could be bought for the right price.

I have seen that car marketed all over the place Hemmings etc.
I believe that most ads I have seen he is looking for around $100,000
I really do not know anything about the history and background of this car.

It very could bring 100K to the right collector. Since it's a one off car, there is really nothing to judge it aganist for a value. I know it's worth more all orginal, but I say Pro-tour it. How wicked would that look...A totally in your face, on the ground, big wheeled, retracable drop top mustang.

I have a bid of 27,500 on it right now and that is under the reserve. In fact, I put the bid in last night after posting above, and no one else has bid since. I guess all the buyers are in Scottsdale.
