Jody....can I ask you what you coated your sub-frame in? Is it POR-15, Powdercoating, or just good old-fashinoned paint over acrylic urethane?

Thanks.

Oh....and I'm going to have to go ahead and copy you with those silver control arms. That just looks sick. Sorry. Hey, Steve Jobs of Apple said it best when he said, "good artists create....great artists steal".

That would be Steve Jobs motioning over his shoulder towards the direction of Bill Gates.

Tony,

That's powdercoat, 80% black I believe. Kind of an eggshell black. You're more than welcome to copy the a-arms, they look very good in that color. Besides I was told that Tony Huntimer did it before me anyway, I haven't seen his though.

Thanks for the info Jody. I think my frame is too pitted to powdercoat. I have it coated in 2 quarts of POR-15 for trial assembly but was planning to have it media blasted for final assembly. I'll probably go traditional prime and paint so that I can sand it down smooth.

Very true. Steve, if you haven't already...you gotta check out this flick. It tells the whole story about those two. It aired on USA Network about 5 years ago. You can find it in the video stores now.

I bought my Baer brakes through DSE. The fronts are 4-piston Alcons and the rears are Touring Plus with 13.25" Eradispeeds.
