I was able to do this cause I ordered a column that is 2" shorter than the original column. Worked out great.

Wheel and release bolt pattern is 70mm.

Same collapsable adapter as the one that came with my Momo wheel.
Warning: You lose the collapsible safety factor of that adapter using the short hub!

Hey Sieg,
Who did you purchase your hub / quick release from? I called NRG and they don't sell direct to the public. Think i'm gonna go with the same finish you have.

Finally got the adapter, how's does the adapter mate to the 2.5 qr?, I received no screws no instructions.....any pics or advice?

did you look under the inner box cover? I bought extra screws from McMasterCarr. Let me know if you need any. I bought a bunch.
