everyone else - after a massive lunch time brain storming session we(the whole shop, plus a dude from vegas, and my brother keith)decided due to the new paint color and direction of the build the car's official name should be changed to "project purple nurple"
that is all.

I think its fitting, of course you could do this instead :

Little different shade of course then the Aston Martin in that link you posted Matt, but it obviously is a great color on this '57. You may know this already, but if not, it belongs to Marty's (syborg tt) Dad and the car was done by Kenny Davis & Co. http://kdhotrods.com/gallery.html

im really glad to see everyone getting into the spirit of this build!
and i hate to say it but matt did make a good call by changing from the grey to this new purpleish color, its going to look sickter of the richter, or the kronicals of gnarnia

Take note Brad, while short, this story has a good lesson. So just remember, next time I say its Amethyst Red, and you say its purple, be prepared, I could be an inch away from punching you in the face

Oh and as soon as its painted you guys at the shop need to post up pictures of it in Amethyst Red. I just can't wait to see it in Amethyst red...
