Congrats on getting to do a build for Lokar! You guys do phenomenal work! The Chevelle and Mustang you did we're stellar! Look forward to seeing this come together.

That body is in incredible shape! Should be really nice to work on something that is that clean from the start. Rendering came out sick as well. This should be a great build that we are glad to be a part of.

Great work.
I'm usually not too crazy about convertibles, but this car looks like it's going to be beastly.

Yeah the shape of this body really makes it nice and I got a little back story on it as well, The car was parked in Tuscon for 17 yearsand went up for sale on Ebay , Skip Walls (owner of Lokar) was bidding on the car but had to go out of town and asked Kevin (Skip and Debbies son) to finish it up and by the car, well Debbieand some of the guys at Lokar got together and made some phone calls and bought the car without Skip knowing it and let him believe they lost the auction, Skip went on and on for three weeks how he got screwed out of the cleanest, nicest Camaro yada yada, then on the night of their company Christmas party they had it out front where they surprised him.
Pretty cool story

Here are some progress shots of the doors and trunklid where we are using CTS-V coupe door latches and strikers as well as a GM sedan trunk latch and made our own striker. These latches are power from the factory so that opens up some options for handles , but more importantly they shut and latch amazingly.
