Thank you! No, the driveshaft doesn't hit anything. The mufflers are quite secure so there's no movement there and as long as the U-joint holds up, the driveshaft won't hit anything. It rotates nicely under there.

Thank you, 67_camaroRS, much appreciated! The light sockets are the ones that came with my AAW Classic Update kit so I mounted the passenger side light just under the Astro Vent ball on the dash (out of sight) and the driver side light is mounted just a couple of inches to the left of the ash tray. I just used some LED bulbs that were white to match the gauges, radio display, headlights, dome light, etc. I'm pretty happy with the result.

As for the shifter and shift boot, they're from Finch Performance. I thinks it's the 8" curved handle and the boot is the smaller of the two sizes he offers. Like anything I've bought from them, both are nice pieces and the quality is excellent! Hope that helps

Thank you. I hope mine is good as well.

Thank you, much appreciated! Yeah, I'm lucky to have some good help. My hope is that both my boys will learn some skills from me just like I did/do from my Dad.

Sorry about your wife.

But this is exactly what i was thinking of doing. A kick ass 1st gen with LS for a daily driver.

Can't wait to see it finished.

Thank you, much appreciated! It's been a good outlet, for sure. I'm excited to see it finished. I'm waiting on my body shop to get thru the SEMA crunch so they can wrap up a few things and hang the front sheet metal, then once I get my seats, I'll be ready to drive it and enjoy it! It's definitely been worth the effort so far

Thank you, sir! It's nothing exotic but I'm excited about it and it'll be a blast when it's done. I went with the Recaro Specialist S in black leather. You'd think they'd be plentiful or at least somewhat available on the build schedule. I hate to compromise on the things I like/want but my patience is starting to wear thin. Everybody assures me they're worth the wait so I'm hopeful!

Great build thread and very informative for others that might be doing something similar in the future. Looks killer.
