Time for a little update!

A lot has happened in the last 2 years... little of it has been Nova related, unfortunately.

First, I got some things done on the car. Interior sound deadening, trim, wiring... Without further adieu, here are some pics.

I used 1/8" of closed cell foam as an isolating layer, then some Mass loaded vinyl to sound deaden the interior. The wiring harness went in after. I stripped a couple of cars for harnesses and Metripack connectors, then invested in all the pins and seals I'd need. I've got my daughter studying to help me design some stuff later.

And then came an interruption!

I got a new job in my home town, which is close to my wife's family too.

But the housing market in early 2021 was tight. NOTHING for sale that would work. No matter, I'll build something.

So I found some dirt, and got to work! To save money and get a leg-up on the build, I began some of the site prep the day we closed.

I also started work on my new shop! (Full disclosure, I had the contractor who would build my house start do the concrete work. )

Bear with me on the pics... think I have it sorted now!

When I sold my last place, I put the Nova in a shipping container, and it's been nestled safely away there, ever since.

My life for the last year has been all about building... both the shop, and the house. It's an experience, that's for sure! I don't know if I ever want to go through it again, but I enjoyed it.

This weekend, I'll be moving all of my shop stuff out of the shipping containers, and hopefully my life will take on some sembelance of normalcy, and I can start working on the Nova again.

Just a random photodump for you, below!

Some more pics! I'm working on the shelves to store stuff right now, which is the boards you see screwed to the wall in some of the finished interior pics.
