Default 19x11 with 305/30 and 325/30

I’m looking for some advice. My 73 camaro is mini tubbed with DSE quadra link. I was planning on running a 19x12 with 325/30 tire. I’m thinking of scaling down to a 305/30 so I have plenty of room but I’d like to be able to go up to the 325/30 without buying rims again. So my plan was to go 19x11. According to tire racks specs the 305 will be perfect on the 19x11 and the 325 is within spec also for fitting. Any thoughts? 315/30R19 is really not an option because there are not many manufacturers making that size. Thanks Bill

I really think a 12” wheel would be better for the 325. My new ZL1/1LE has the 325/30-19 rear tire on a 12” wheel and it seems to square the tire up really nice. An 11” might roll the sidewall too much.

Thank you. That’s what I was thinking. Just cause you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Lol.

I have a a 325 tire in 19x11 wheels. No mounting or balance issues. My project isn’t complete enough to drive yet but according to tire manufacturer 19x11 is within spec for 325. Check out the cooper zeon rs-3 they are very reasonably priced tires and come in 325/30/19 and 275/30/18 or 295/30/18
