Default Torino 10

Moving this over from introductions.
A few more pics of my 69 torino build. Got the floor and firewall cutout a couple of months ago. I began the front clip/suspension this weekend. I used C4 spindles and upper arms. The rest of it is custom built to fit 325/30 on 19x11 wheels all the way round. The V10 will be pushed 5" into the firewall giving lots of room for the steering rack.

Looks good! Your lower control arms are nice. In the pics with the rack, it looks like it is forward of the tie rod on the spindle? If that's the case, you could end up with some ackerman and bump issues. I like the V10 move, I can relate...

I have many hours runnning the whole setup in a susp. design program...it all works quite well.
My V10 is actually a ford , not the dodge

Wheels showed up on Friday. 19x11x 6.375 backspace. Put on one of my
325x30 tires for testing, these will be on all four corners.

Got a few more bits made. The Corvette to Mustang inner tie rod adapters, rack mounts and shock mounts. Have the initial alignment specs set at +5 castor / -1/2 camber. Set the rack mounts to get .010" bumpsteer through 4" of wheel travel.

Now to really put some time in on this project. My wife and kids are gone for a month to South Africa, so now I can work on it big time. Its been awhile since I have done anything on it. I have spent the last few days getting the front clip installed and it should be a roller soon. The next thing to do is the rear tubs/quarters and rail modifications.
