I've tried to explain the purpose of this process to some car people I know and they just don't get it. Then they wonder why their home built car doesn't look or fit as well as the pro built car.
Obviously we home builders can't match your expertise, space or tools but we can respectfully steal ideas from you. Pre-fitting before finishing is one I learned years ago. Yes, it costs a bit of time up front but like TIG welding body panels vs. MIG welding them it saves rework which equates to time and thus money in the finish process.
