Smile 1970 Challenger Vintage Air Install

This forum is filled with huge custom builds so I figured I would change it up and show a mild modification on our customers sweet 1970 Challenger Convertible. We built this car years ago and have always worked on one of his four mopar muscle cars.

This time, he brought his 1970 Challenger 440 6-Pack convertible in for a complete Vintage Air install.

I will document some pics through this thread, let me know if you would like to see more of the smaller jobs on this forum!

Here is the car as brought to us yesterday.

I think it is cool to see the "boring normal" stuff from time to time done by professionals. Not everyone has a money tree or pallet of hundred dollar bills they can pull from and have a car (or several) professionally built.

In my humble opinion showing stuff like this also lets people know you can do anything they want or need, not just complete builds and SEMA quality cars.

I agree totally...I enjoy the big dollar builds but it's these smaller posts that help a guy like me save money and do it myself.Nice job on the Challenger by the way

Absolutely! I prefer the mild to moderate modifications a DIY guy can accomplish over the "High End" stuff. LOL

Oops.. I fell behind a little on this thread. Here are some pictures of the custom glove box we made, along with the upgraded system being fitted up under the dash. This setup fit like a glove!

Here are some completed pictures of the car after the complete vintage air install. Overall this kit fit awesome! Had a little trouble with the pulley setup, but vintage was happy to help. Great service and great parts! This challenger now blows some cold air for the summer months.
