Covers look nice.... I think the "corvette" in aluminum color is the best look

I vote to not paint the script. They look great the way they are pictured.

My father helped me this past weekend on my car. We got the LS1 in the camaro. There hasn't been a motor in the car in almost 8 years, so it was nice to see more of the car coming together!
Also, I installed a set of bolt in subframe connectors that I bought used off of craigslist. They needed a little welding and paint, but they are finally in.
I am going back and triple checking all my bolts and hopefully before too long I can purchase a T56 for the car.

Next, we will get the 94' poly caprice tank re-installed.

Default T56 Transmission

I just picked up a T56 6 speed out of an 02 SS Camaro with 90K.
I am excited to see this thing taking shape.

After a little scrubbing!

I have a buddy who is going to let me take some measurements off of his crossmember so I can get one fabbed up. More updates soon!

Default New Seats for the 68'

New seats and seat covers!
A friend gave me a set of powered 4th gen seats and before too long these new innovator seat covers will be going on them. I love these seat covers.

Default New Headers have arrived!

When I arrived home I found these on my door step! Dynatech LS1 headers!
Thanks to my discount I picked them up for $367.50!

I can't wait to get them on!
I just spoke with a guy local who is going to build my harness and do my ecm tune. Hopefully after 2 months of gathering parts and a little work we will be able to hear it run.

Default New Rear Axle

I picked a true BV coded 68' camaro 4:10 posi last night. I can't wait to get it cleaned up and painted. I now have exactly what I wanted in my drivetrain with the LS1,T56, and new 12 Bolt.

LS1 rear brakes will be my next order of business.

Nice score!! If you still need a crossmember , I had good luck with this company for the T56.http://www.transmissioncenter.net/ra...rossmember.htm
I used it in a 67 camaro. Pretty cool part. Gonna be a nice car! Happy new year!

Thumbs up More Progress...front sheetmetal on!

Made some progress on my Camaro this weekend. Two car buddies helped me get all the panels lined up. We ended up welding the passenger door to get the gaps right. Those reproduction fenders required a lot of massaging. I am sure happy with how it turned out! The gap on the fender to door were right around 0.290". Luckily we had an original sheetmetal car to take measurements from.

Next step will be blocking, blocking, and some more blocking....

Hopefully in a couple of months I will have this thing jambed in and ready for re-assembly.

Going on 9 years with this car and I sure would like to see wearing some blue paint. Sorry for the I-phone pictures. I forgot to bring my digital camera.
