Engine builder says 50 #'s is all we need -- and that with a roller cam and RedLine synthetic oil (straight 40wt) she's good to go....

I told him "my rule" which I learned along time ago re: 10#'s per 1000 rpms -- and he just laughed and said "yeah - but that's at what bearing clearances and blah blah blah...."

I'll take his word for it.
