Default S10 brake upgrade

My son and i are working on his 98 s10 with LQ4/4L80e and we want to redo the front suspension with taller spindle, tubilar control arms and bigger better brakes.

My main question is what brake setup could we use with these Ridetech spindles
http://www.ridetech.com/store/components/spindles/

We thought about s10 Blazer brakes with 10.8" rotor and dual piston calipers but i don't think Ridetech makes a Blazer spindles.

Thanks Jamie

Whoops, I originally looked at the first spindle posted and replied.

It looks like Wilwood and Baer both offer a big brake kit for the truck. Maybe a call to Kore3 would produce another option. On the cheap, I'm sure with the popularity of the S-10 platform someone has adapted something that works well using OEM parts.

Here you go,

Looks like C5/C6 brakes are being made to "work"

Thanks for the reply

I see them using C5 and Camaro rotor and calipers but they have to cut the S10 rotor down to just a hub and put the C5/Camaro rotor over it. That's why the idea of useing a S10 Blazer rotor came to mind but I don't think Ridetech make a tall spindle. Plus you have to cut and grind on the S10 spindle to make it work.

Might just buy the Ridetech S10 spindle and go from there and make it work. Thanks again for the link.

I did a big brake swap on my 97 s10. I used 98 and newer blazer spindles with the bolt on hubs and used 96 grand sport vette 13" rotors with 98 ls1 f-body dual piston calipers and made my own brackets to make it all work right.
