Just back from a visit with my sister in DFW area, actually Keller TX which is only a few miles from Texas Motorsports Speedway. Worked on her 1990 Chrysler TC Maserati which has been sitting for a few years between divorce, retirement and a new house (Let the house go .... NEVER give up your car!!!!) well that's her baby so I felt honored to help her get it on the road. Man what a smile on her grill when she got to drive it over to get the safety inspection and then new tags .... priceless!!!
Then we saw this 63 Buick Riviera down by the DMV ....
I didn't care for the humidity or the heat of Texas but it was worth it to see my sister's face grinning ear to ear driving her baby once again. Heading back next weekend to meet the GG Hall of Fame Tour guys in Dallas, mainly Greg Weld but I'll get to meet the other guys also
Glad your time in DFW was good for you! The heat here can sometimes be brutal , I agree. I live Just West of Keller and know the area well- it's been a great place for my family to grow and the car culture here is huge! I've made many life long friends in the area from driving my '78 Trans Am around.
