Thanks for the info Todd and everyone.

What size and brand of tires are you running? (including side wall size)

Also, what back spacing and lip size do you have?

Sorry to be in your business but I am looking for the "right combination" for my '69 Bird.

Thanks for your help Todd.

Hi Todd,

When you have time please email me at [email protected].

I am looking for the right combo for my '69 Firebird. I know I have to get it right because once I buy the custom wheels there is no returning them and they are very expensive. The wheels, tires, and stance make the car and I want to make sure I do it right.

Thank you for your time and help.

Ron

Since this is a 30 day feature I thought it would make sense to post experiences here. Skipped out of work at about 1 PM today. Good buddy of mine has Thursdays off and he hasn't been in the car since the open header days. We did a nice 100 mile run out to the old Pioneer Saloon. Has to be one of the coolest old western bars in the West. In fact there are still holes in the siding from a gun fight in the early 1900's. Just a good old honky tonk wher you can swing open the double doors in the pool room and enjoy a nice day. It's a pretty nice ride out there. Took a corner in 4th pinned and just really beat the car good and hard. Ran great! I cleared out the bar when I left. I had to do a burn out to show off a little. Hell there are no cops out there! I have to get this car on the track. There is just to much peformance to be realized on the street. More info on the Pioneer Saloon. http://www.pioneersaloon.info/

Todd,

It's so nice to see that car is no longer languishing with a tiny 307 in it and stuffed in a garage somewhere collecting dust for fear of hurting its value. Cars are meant too be driven. Your Camaro is finally living the life it deserves. I remember when I found it. That car could barely hold an idle until it warmed up because the little 2 bbl needed to be rebuilt. It stalled 3 times while I was loading it into my trailer and I had too push it the rest of the way in. Your Camaro has come a long long way and is absolutely stunning.

Hats-off Todd.

Cool pic in front of the saloon. I need to get my butt out west!
