Default 18" Rear Tires

Having a hard time locating a tire for a Chevelle project that we're wanting to run an 18" rear wheel on. Something like a 345/35-18 or 335/40-18. Something about 28" tall 12-13" wide. Seems like all that's available are drag radials. Looks like they're either discontinued or no longer available. Anyone have any ideas?

For that kind of footprint the tire selection for 19" wheels is much better.

I agree & would like to go with 19s for the better tire selection but the wheel we're wanting to run isn't available is a 19".

A set of custom, 3-piece wheels are always available in a 19.

I hear that. We like the OE 1 Forgelines offered by the Roadstershop but....

This is what we're wanting to run in 18"

Default 18 inch tires

I talked to a Mickey Thompson rep at SEMA this year and he said they are releasing a road performance tire in 18 inch this year sometime that will fit in that 325 /40 range. So with any luck we might see a tire in time for summer(up here in northern Alberta Canada that's June)

Trying to stay away from Drag radials if possible. Rains allot and owner wants to put some serious miles on the car.

I put about 10k miles on my Cougar with drag radials. M/T has a new tread design pattern that is more rain friendly. I used the older design before but am switching to the new design tomorrow.

How about some 335/30ZR18 such as Pirelli PZero Rosso's or BFG G-Force Rival S?
