Default Lateral G is great BUT.............

Other than LateralG and Protouring what other sites are providing you guys with your build thread fixes.
Foreign language, offshore, it doesn't matter. What you guys got?
I am currently doing my research and acquiring parts.

It's Lat-G or bust for me. There are lots of other sites. But, in my opinion, most of them are nothing but a lot of bickering, disrespectful and immature audience forums. To me, Lat-G maintains the polar opposite. Here, guys are helpful, doesn't bash or belittle the guy with a mild/mediocre build. No one here talks down, laughs at or talk s#!t to another guy. I've made so many friends here whom I never actually met and if I walked past them in Wal-Mart, I wouldn't even know who they were. I've pm'd guys here and they gave me their cell number and we've had lengthy conversations, helping me out. Some have told me things in confidence and warning me about certain things. I say all this from my persepctive though. You just have to find the right forum for you. Some others are LS1tech.com. Depending, on what you are working on there are truck sites like 68-72chevytrucks.com. Others are trifive.com, camaro5.com, corvetteforum.com. But, as far as old school/muscle cars...Lat-G and protouring.com are about two of the biggest.

Very well said,I check in several times a day. They are a lot of good people here that are always willing to help.Just like Marcus said you do not need to have a $400k build for people to help you out and follow your build.I have learned so much on this site and met a lot of great people.

LS1 Tech has been helpful in the past, mostly to search other builds and LS problems. It's been a while since i've posted on there but I use it as a research tool.

Many of the other sites i've been on that are model-specific seem to not be thrilled by pro-touring & resto-mods.

Well said by all...

I think I'm getting a little teary eyed just thinking about the wealth of knowledge I've gained from hanging out here.

Thanks Jody and the rest of the behind the scene guys and gals...

It really isn't for me, but I was trying to remain optimistic for others.

Yeah, they don't some to get too riled up on the old school stuff. I've seen this first hand.

I check in daily here. You won’t find a better online community than what’s offered here. LOTS of friends for sure, Marcus said it best.
The site is FULL of people who ARE the industry. Many owners of big time, in the now company’s are eager answer questions and answer tech. Blows my mind actually. If your building, or looking to build a G-machine, this is a must stop place.
I’m a former Vette owner, twice actually, so I visit CorvetteForum. I’m an engine guy at heart, and formally professionally, so I visit LS1Tech as well. I’ve been on ProTouring.com a few times, and it’s not the same as here. Not. Even. Close.
