How much did you think it would get? Congrats to everyone involved with the awesome "Project Prestone" 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, which fetched $100,000 at the famous Barrett-Jackson auction - with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit TGen. It's powered by a 415HP 383ci stroker and rides on Detroit Speed suspension, Wilwood Disc Brakes, 245/40ZR18 & 255/40ZR18 BFGoodrich Tires g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires, and 18x8.5/18x9 Forgeline GA3 wheels finished with Pearl Gray centers & Brushed outers! Worlds most expensive Monte SS?

Looks great! I'm glad they built an aero coupe. I'd be very happy seeing more Gbodies. Which reminds me I need to see if the Holley Grand Prix being built by AME ever got completed.

I had an 81 Monte and a mullet. Probably at the same time. Of course I wrecked that one after a few beers around 17.
