Default 383 procharger

im looking to do a 383 procharger with all the goodys but im stuck on the heads looking at AFR 195 or 210 can you give some feed back
on the 210 where the header mounts is 1/4 " higher then stock will that be a problem for the headers and the valves are .05 higher will that be a problem for the valve cover thanks

The 210's without question, especially the competition package because of better exhaust port flow. Head flow is just as important on a boosted engine as it is on a naturally aspirated engine. Buy as much head as you can afford because a good head will make as much power with less boost as a poor head will make with more boost, and making the same amount of power with less boost is always better (cooler charge air temps, less power to drive the supercharger, etc.)

I would also recommend inconel exhaust valves and thermal coating the combustion chambers and valves.

The raised valve cover rails and raised exhaust ports shouldn't pose any problem, but as with anything you never know until you put it together and try it...
